Felipe Oliveira Baptista is a designer born in Portugal in 1975. After graduating from Kingston University, London UK, he starts as a fashion designer at Max Mara, Christophe Lemaire and Cerruti.

In 2002, Baptista wins the Grand Prix of Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival. After launching his own eponymous brand, he is invited in 2005 to show at the Paris Haute Couture week. The same year, he wins the LVMH and ANDAM prizes. His work is showcased in the Mudam in Luxembourg and in the Museum of Design and Fashion of Lisbon.

He then works for Uniqlo and carries on a special project for Nike.
In 2009, he shows his first ready-to-wear collection at Paris Fashion Week.

Since 2010, Felipe is creative director of Lacoste. In 2013, he organises a solo exhibition at MUDE, Lisbon. Since 2014, he has put aside his brand in order to dedicate more time to Lacoste and various personal projects of creation.
