Jean-Robert Franco starts his professional career working as a management consultant, gradually orienting himself towards visual arts in the late 1980s.

He works for Viva agency as a fashion photographer and photojournalist before deciding to devote himself to his personal artistic work in the late 1990s.

Jean-Robert Franco associates his art photography with his more contemporary work around the memory of childhood and privacy, the illusion of presence. He bases this work on various visual materials such as films and family photos, videos, etc.

Jean-Robert Franco exhibits internationally and his work is part of several collections, including the Centre Pompidou.
